ABSATZ

ABSATZ is one of the few sires who had an enormous impact on Hanoverian breeding after the Second World War. ABSATZ has probably been the most outstanding sire in Hanoverian breeding since the War. He gave the modern Hanoverian the characteristics and incomparable ‘Absatz type’ which this breed still profits in the second and third generation even today. Absatz sired 33 approved sons, 86 States Premium Mares and his offspring have won over 1.4 Million DM. His offspring have consistently made tremendous competitors and been highly sought after whenever they appear at auction making top prices. Today Absatz’s line continues to produce both Grand Prix level jumpers and dressage horses.
