better breeding than this! This foal is surely going to be a prime
example of the athletic versatility, temperament and gorgeous
conformation coming out of Germany's present breeding program. The sire,
Rajah, has already had a successful dressage career and is now wowing
the crowds at the jumper shows. Rajah is presently competing in the
Preliminary Open Jumpers and was 4th out of 43 competitors (section 4)
this May at the Pepinière Spring show. We expect him to finish the
season at Grand Prix. We are so proud of him!
The dam, Larissa started as an eventer and was a successful 4 ft jumper in Germany before being imported to Canada where her career shifted to dressage. This elegant mare was year end Medium level champion (3rd level) her first year out! Trainer Dave Thind says of her "Larissa is one of the most willing, light and obedient mares I have ever had the pleasure of riding. Most of the time, the best horses come with a certain attitude which puts them into the "professional" category - not this mare!" While continuing her dressage education to Prix St Georges level (plus talent for piaffe, passage), Larissa has been a successful schoolmaster in Thind's lesson program as well as having produced some outstanding foals (including a stallion prospect).
