RAMIRO

A Holsteiner by birth and a foundation stallion for KWPN breeding, Ramiro has been labelled "Stallion of the Century." His dam was an internationally famous showjumper and he himself was tremendously successful at showjumping, with many wins in Nations Cups, Puissance and international Grand Prix competition.

Ramiro was the top stallion of his performance year (1969) and was declared Horse of the Year at Jumping Amsterdam in 1992.

A preferent sire, he influences nearly all European performance studbooks. It is impossible to underestimate Ramiro's influence on Dutch Warmblood breeding; he produced numerous approved stallions.

Ramiro's progeny have been very successful in dressage as well as jumping.
